Happy chinese new year everyone! this year's cny wasn't very fantastic for me, cos my parents decided to take a break from visiting and stayed at home through the holidays.
but definately i won't just sit at home during the festive season and not collect hong baos from relatives.
anyway, here's a shot of the yu sheng my dad made for reunion dinner. its different this year, we used the top shell instead of the salmon that we used previously. cheap and good. haha..a great alternative for people who don't take raw fish like my mum.


here's a shot of win-win (my pet bird) in the napping position with eyes open. cos the sound of my handphone cam woke it up. heee...so cute.

alvin and marcus shifted to the new hall 16 recently so i decided to take a look over there. its so much better than the old halls. ya..its new right, got to be equipped with better facilities and finishings. it has better security too. every block as a gate at the first floor and only residents with the 'block key' can scan at some sensor to enter. and one thing that i really loved about the new hall is that the laundry lines are not public in the corridors. the clothes and erm..underwears dont get stolen!
