its food talk now.
the baos here are very very cheap. we were so glad to see that one costs only 0.80 yuan. its only S$0.10+ for a big bao lahh!! i bought one at the street stall for breakfast on my way to work yesterday.

this is how it looks like when i ate half of it away:


its a thick-skinned bao. felt like i couldnt taste much of the meat unless i bite it on its right. i think china people like to eat food with thick skin. xiaolongbao, guo tie also like that. but singaporeans like to see alot of meat inside.



next, is guo qiao mi xian. we ate it for dinner 2 nights ago. nothing very fantastic bout its taste. i just took a photo of it cos i dont see this dish selling in sg. it is a huge huge bowl of noodles, but its obvious in the pic the meat is kinda pathetic. 2 slices only!



but something different about this dish is that the soup stays hot no matter how slow u eat it. there is still steam even after we finish eating n left it there. they say its bcos of the oil in the soup.
