for a memorable photo of the leaning tower, everyone's doing the same action. you know what i mean. its a pity we forgot to take a photo of all the people there with their hands up in the air.

www.tudou.com/ is my new love :) its the china youtube. we cant watch youtube cos its non china and it takes eons to load a video. lots of taiwan variety and drama series that u get on SCV! hahhaha... work was boring for me this week. our company is in the midst of shifting to a new building, so there's no work for me to do until we shift to the new place. it was depressing news when i heard that though i can do nothing at work and still get paid. its a pain.. Florence Day 1 (29 Dec '06): its no doubt a very arty city, the birthplace of so many famous artists. you see lots of local artists selling their artworks or doing portraits at the squares or along the river. me on the train from venice to florence. it was a 5 hour ride. europe trains are clean and quite comfy. but i hate the 'headrest' thingy, see the grey piece of thing there? it sticks out and doesnt support any part of my neck or head. 'short' people wont like this, probably if you are 1.75 and above, the seat is for u.  the duomo - it looks beautiful at sunset. the exterior is painted red, white and green (the colours of the italian flag), but the colours are not very obvious. the red looks more like brown to me. We took a side trip to Pisa. The famous tower of pisa is no where near the train station. we had to take a bus ride there. Just spot the bus with lots of tourists boarding it and it will get you to the right place.
another cathedral: europe has too many cathedrals and lots of palaces around.
we went to have gelato ice cream for desert that night. the shop sells up to 60 different flavours. that's what i call variety and its tasty too..yum!
