chinese new year is this week! im gonna celebrate a cheena new year in china! *excited* we are going to 西安 (xi an - the place with terra cotta soldiers, qin shi huang's tomb and palace..etc) during our new yr break and perhaps a weekend trip after that to hangzhou if we still have the energy.

i love some of the MacD's deserts over here! not available in sg.
red bean pie - its new. just introduced cos vday's round the corner
yam pie - my favourite! too bad there's no MacD near my house or workplace, orelse i can see myself buying that very often.

we went to people's square for shopping last saturday. i spent quite alot in yuans.
i think you all should have heard of ajisen ramen in sg right, they have outlets here in shanghai. we had our lunch there. the ramens are so cheap, the price is similar in real terms, around 20-30rmb (S$4-6) for a bowl! there's definately no discount on the portion, its equally big.

i bought quite alot of unneccessary stuff that day: caffine slimming cream, stickers (cos they are cute), jewel stickers for my handphone and camera, ginger shampoo and conditioner (supposed to improve blood circulation on the scalp, for stronger and shinier hair..etc)

our dinner was at 永和豆浆 (yonghe soya bean). the food we ordered was good. that's 烧饼夹油条 (2nd top quarter), 小笼包, 豆花, 豆浆. i give the 油条 a thumbs-up, very crispy and fragrant..
