i think the internet in shanghai has officially banned blogging. cos i cant surf any blog websites. sux big time...i can update but i cant read my blog. i dont know why these couple of paragraphs are underlined and i cant change it at all. the font settings in the tool bar has only bold and italic but not underline..i just dont know what it became like that. bear with the odd-ness..

anyway, here's a little update of a side trip we had last weekend. we were bored of 'stay home sundays' for a few weeks so we decided to explore the outskirts of shanghai. we went to the 7 treasures ancient city. some tourist attractions with the little river and ancient cheena buildings.

we paid 30 rmb to visit the attractions, 8 in total, we only had time to visit 6. it was so packed along the streets (free to walk), but when we paid to get into the attractions, it suddenly became so empty. seems like no one wants to pay the extra.

here are some of the photos and dumb ones that we took:

check out the crowd in the streets. we ate some little bites along the streets for lunch. we had to queue for almost everything we at there..too many people..we even waited for 20 mins for the food that was not tasty at all. we saw a long long queue at the stall, so we queue lor, should be nice - singaporeans' mentality. i suppose china people think the same way as we do. it was a waste of time..

it was stinky fried beancurd (chou dou fu) peter and i were eating. its obvious u know who detests the smell..

i gained 3kg ever since im here. amazing right..i was so shocked the moment i stepped on the weighing machine. im at my heaviest weight now. my face looks chubbier, love handles are so obvious when i wear my jeans. i ate too much...i must cut down ahh...orelse i get too fat until my friends and family cant recognise me. persevere is the word..
