its so free of charge to sound the car horn that it happens everywhere on the roads in shanghai. its so annoying and im very sure that the noise pollution factor is much higher than sg.
i was on the bus on my way to work this morning and the driver totally spoilt my 20 mins in the morning.
he sounds horn on the average of 30 times from bus stop to the next. yes its possible...i counted.

the bus driver horns when:
1. starts to slow down while approaching the bus stop
2. leaves the bus stop
3. stop at the traffic light
4. when the traffic light turns green
5. when the vehicle in front is travelling too slowly
6. overtakes a vehicle
7. makes a turn
8. changes lane
9. sometimes for nothing

he gets high on car horns
